| Connecting ClassroomsThe Dominican Convent School
is a part of Connecting Classrooms Project of British Council. There
are schools in Pakistan partnering with schools in UK to make a cluster
of 9 schools working collaboratively to build bridges between cultures.
Schools work together to design and implement curriculum-based activities
incorporating three themes: intercultural dialogue, active citizenship
and skills for employment. These themes address the needs of young
people both in social and professiona fields. |

Blood Diamonds This project helps to understand how the mining of valuable minerals, especially diamonds, gold and coltan, has impacted the political, economic, social and ecological structure of large areas of Africa. Students organized an awareness campaign within their community and for wider audiences in order to improve the lives of others by sharing and displaying their work on the Rafi.ki site.

Every Picture Tells a StoryThe thirst of knowledge
has no boundaries, students in Lotus School, Ahmadabad India have
invited our students for a project, 'Every Picture Tells a Story'.
Students of class 5 and 6 are writing stories and are eager to share
their work with their friends in India. Students on both sides will
collect data about the pollution in their cities and countries. This
data will be further shared in the form of Power Point presentation.
